Can an Angel Really Fix This Mess? - formallyknownas - 呪術廻戦 (2024)

“Dammit Cass, where the Hell are we?” Dean spat out in a gruff voice as he crashed onto the dusty debris covered ground.

He raised his hands in front of him and immediately bit back an even more pissed remark. His hands were f*cking two dimensional, like some god damn drawing. This was the Scooby Doo incident all over again, wasn’t it?

“It seems I miscalculated the coordinates for the reality we were pursuing the demon into,” Cass said in his typical monotone voice.

This was more strange than the Scooby Doo incident. They had somehow found themselves in the middle of a destroyed city, nothing but crumbled buildings.

Actually, it looked like they were dropped right into one of those fighting animes that used to come across his TV sometimes, but Dean was never into that nerdy crap, that was Sammy’s area.

“You think?” Dean said as he nervously looked around. Okay, maybe he watched this stuff more than a few times so he might have realized they dropped into the middle of a battle.

“And what exactly are you?” The dust started to clear from their initial drop in and some man like monster stepped into view.

“Who’s the tattooed freak?” Dean muttered to Cass as he was shuffling through the cryptic book in his hands. It allegedly would get them to the correct universe to get the stupid angel crystal from the demon, but so far hadn’t seemed to be working. Dean would just be grateful to get back to their own reality.

“You have no cursed energy,” the tattooed freak droned as he stepped over some white haired guys body, “no matter, I don’t have time for your foolishness.”

With one hand he sliced through the air and Dean felt a thousand blades cut through him. It was over in an instant.

And in a fashion he had grown quite used to, it was suddenly not over once again. His body was immediately stitched back together by the touch of Cass’s hand and he rose to his feet in single gasp.

“What the Hell is that thing?” He turned to Cass, suddenly ready to leave whatever screwed up universe they were in.

“It appears to be some sort of demon possessing the body of a child,” Cass said standing between him and the monster.

“Well if it’s a demon then hurry up and exorcise it,” Dean said and the monster only stared at them with an awe inspired smile.

“No cursed energy and yet you blocked my attack without a single movement? And you healed that pathetic weakling,” Dean simmered at the remark as he continued, “this is starting to look like fun.”

Cass stepped towards the monster as slashes sliced across his skin, only to be healed moments later. Dean didn’t have the slightest idea what that guy meant when he talked about cursed energy, nor did he really care, he could just go without getting his head chopped off again.

“It seems like the dead one on the ground was fighting this creature earlier,” he bent down over the body that was cut in half and pressed his fingers to his forehead, causing the white haired man to mend back together.

“What are you?” The tattooed guy grinned as if he was thrilled by the angel in front of him.

A fist slammed out, making contact with Cass’s chest, causing him to fly across the ruined city and Dean flinched when he crashed into a building. Good thing he was tough.

“Jesus you’re creepy,” he adverted his gaze back to the monster who was glaring at Cass, “hey ugly, why don’t you get out of that kid and fight me like a man?”

Dean pulled the demon knife out and lunged towards the monster. He didn’t want to kill the kid, even if he was only a cartoon, but he could at least try to bid time for Cass to get them out of here.

He plunged the knife into the monster’s arm, only for it to get lodged completely. The man looked down at him with disdain, scoffed, and slammed his fist into Dean’s gut, throwing him across the plain.

Dust flew in the air as he struggled to press himself up. sh*t that thing could throw a punch but at least this time he didn’t use that weird power to cut a chunk off him.

The monster pulled the knife out and held it up to the light, closely examining it

“Neither of you were in the kids memories…” he droned contemplatively.

“We’re new in town,” Dean coughed out with a smile.

“This has been fun, but I am bored of you,” the monster raised his fingers carelessly but before he could slice into Dean again the white haired man appeared between them manifesting from nowhere.

Great, another freak.

“Did you miss me, Sukuna?” The white haired man said with a crazed smile as he intertwined his fingers with the tattooed man’s, Sukuna he guesses, before throwing him violently through the air.

Blue eyes glowed as he looked over his shoulder and Dean started to wonder if reviving him was a mistake, “who the hell are you?”

Cass suddenly appeared right beside him in that notoriously creepy way that always made Dean jump, but it didn’t cause any reaction in the white haired man before them.

“Tourists,” Dean offered a coy smile.

The man scoffed and shook his head, “I was dead,” he took a step closer to the two of them and Dean braced himself for an attack, “which one of you brought me back?”

A building exploded as Sukuna burst out from under the rubble he was tossed into, brushing it off like it weighed nothing to him.

“Satoru Gojo!” He yelled in booming voice with a devious smile plastered to his lips. “I didn’t think you had something like this up your sleeve!”

“They aren’t with me,” the white haired man, Gojo something, crossed his arms.

“This one is upset he was brought back to life,” Cass regarded Gojo-something, “seems like he was with his boyfriend in the afterlife.”

Gojo-something’s eyes widened in horror at the revelation as Cass continued, “I can send you back there if you want.”

“That’s enough talking,” Sukuna yelled as he folded his hands together, “domain exp-“

Cass was directly in front of him, his fingers to his temples, cutting him off in the middle of his sentence as he collapsed to the ground.

“Sorry I was getting tired of hearing him speak,” Cass reappeared right beside them, “also I read his mind and could see that what he was about to do next was troublesome.”

“Why didn’t you do that in the first place?” Dean shouted, “you know before he sliced me into bits!”

“I didn’t think about it,” Cass said simply.

“Oh you didn’t think about it?” Dean said in a mocking voice. How many times did Dean have to get chopped up and thrown to the wolves before Cass actually thought about things for once?

Gojo-something was still turning his head back and forth, looking at the collapsed body of Sukuna and then at Cass, then back at the body.

“What did you do?” He said with a look of shock on his face. Confused people was something Dean was used to, but confused cartoons was new.

“Don’t think about it too much, we are trying to get out of here anyways so you can get back to whatever weird thing you two have going on.” Dean explained as he turned back to Cass who was walking over to the body.

“He will likely wake back up soon. I can remove him from the boy if you’d like?” Cass was leaning over the weirdos body looking down on it with little to no emotion.

“Cass it’s a drawing, let’s just get the sigil correct so we can get out of here before something else freaky happens.” Dean grabbed onto Cass’s sleeve. This was getting old quick. There was a demon at large, a real demon, that they needed to catch and wasting time here was allowing it to get further away.

A strong arm grabbed Dean by the back of the shirt and dragged him backwards, “you just took out the strongest sorcerer known to history without any cursed energy at all, like it was nothing. You two aren’t going anywhere until you explain.” Gojo-something’s creepy eyes were staring at him in a way that made him feel like he was seeing more of him than he wanted him to.

“Hey, keep your paws off me, Jojo,” Dean said as he ducked out from under his grasp.

Without hesitation, Cass began to explain even though they were literally drawings and Dean did not understand the need to be there any longer, “I am an angel of the lord and this is Dean Winchester, he is just a human.” Dean rolled his eyes. “We aren’t from this universe and are pursuing a demon. We accidentally ended up here I am sorry for the inconvenience.”

“Angels aren’t real,” Jojo said with a disbelieving look on his face.

“Well, Jack Frost, explain how you are standing on two feet again then,” Dean said as he pulled out the tattered sheet with the allegedly correct sigils on it.

“Cass, I think I found the correct symbols can we get going?” Dean was ready to get out of this place, and to also be in his actual body again and not in drawing format.

“Wait,” Gojo-something was suddenly right in front of him causing Dean to flinch.

“Why am I constantly surrounded by teleporting freaks?” He muttered under his breath.

“Can you actually separate them?” Jojo-something said in a quieter voice.

“I can,” Cass was now right beside them and Dean was thoroughly over all these sudden appearances making him jumpy. Someone was always up his ass.

“Although I can’t promise it won’t hurt.” Cass continued to explain.

“Megumi is tough, just do it,” Gojo said and Dean was surprised. It was unusual someone accepted things so quickly, maybe this Gojo guy was quicker than he initially thought. Although he was still fairly certain he was insane.

Cass was now standing over the sedated body of the possessed kid and Dean mumbled, “fine I’ll just do everything, Cass,” as he slid a knife across his palm and began to write out the sigils in his blood on the ground.

There was a high pitched scream as Cass placed his hands on the kids body, a blinding light beaming from his eyes as he reached in and separated their souls.

It only took a moment.

The white haired dude was now on his knees before the kid and the tattoos across his skin began to fade, “Megumi?”

“Gojo?” The kid said in a weak voice. It didn’t look like there was any trace of the creature left in him. In their world, the demon would have been sent back to Hell, but Dean wasn’t sure where one here went.

Gojo carefully picked the kid up, throwing his arm over his shoulder as he laughed, “welcome back, kid,” before his eyes settled on Dean and Cass as he finished up the sigils, the ground now glowing in an ominous and ill-inviting way.

“I don’t really understand what you did, but thank you.” The kid he was holding was wavering in and out of consciousness and Dean simply nodded his head.

The portal they created was now fully opened, a swirling creature twisting in front of them.

He spared one more glance at the pair behind them, those creepy glowing blue eyes watching him intently before him and Cass jumped into the void.

Even though they were only drawings, it still felt good to help them. He wondered which reality they were actually in or if what they did even mattered at all. In a strange way, it felt like it was real.

He shook his head as he fell through, his feet landing on solid ground once more. He was getting sentimental there for a moment, Sammy was clearly getting to him.

Now they stood in a dark, poorly decorated room, where an unfortunately familiar face was sitting in a chair reading a book.

“Dean, how lovely of you to drop by,” Crowley said as he snapped his book shut.
